Accounting for Taste -
Kosher Catering Company is Recipe for Success -
Jewish Voice & Herald: June 2011.
Long before Deb Blazer started
Accounting for Taste LLC (Accounting for Taste), a
kosher catering company, in 2005, in Providence, she
was in accounting. After passing the Enrolled Agent
accounting exam, she founded the RI Society of
Enrolled Agents, hence the name of her future
catering company, “Accounting for Taste.” A
genuine love of cooking led Blazer to establish
Accounting for Taste (under the supervision of
Temple Emanu-El’s Rabbi Wayne Franklin). By mixing a
lifelong interest in food with heaping amounts of
vision and adaptability, she’s created a thriving
business that was named The Jewish Voice & Herald’s
2009 winner of “Best Kosher Caterer Award” category.
For as long as Blazer can remember, she has been
interested in food – preparing it, serving it and
most of all seeing people enjoy it.
